****ing hell. On another day, they both go in, Suarez doesnt hit the keeper and we win 5-1.

On another day when they do go in, we can abandon the match midway and start greasing our balls as we have a comfortable score line.

Not on a day when they dont go in and we get complacent. Whinging or not I have a point.

Some good points from today:

* Suarez brilliant as always. Enrique also played very well and good to see Kelly and Gerrard back.
* Carroll showed more today than for some time. Worked hard, linked play pretty well and had some good moments, like that cross that Suarez almost put away.
* We played some lovely stuff going forward, especially breaking quickly. We could have scored six easily.

Bad points:

* We could have scored six easily. We didnt.
* Caroll looked better but also looks like he's lacking confidence. Was trying too hard sometimes and gave the ball away too much.
* Suarez' reaction to coming off. Its good that he's passionate but that was over the top - shaking his head right to the end and then straight down the tunnel? I also wonder if its because he's not got a lot of faith in Carroll. Wild speculation but he looked really unhappy with some of his bad passes, which he didnt for others. Was he annoyed at being taken off when Carroll was left on? Either way, not something you'd like to see regularly.
* Henderson was anonymous.
* Lucas and Adam is not a good enough as a two-man midfield. It offers a lot in attack but its too lightweight to control the play. Spurs dominated there and Wolves had far too much time and space in possession. I can see why we might use it against weaker teams but I have serious doubts about it as a partnership against most teams.

It only wasnt a 'convincing' win because we hit bar and post. Could so easily have been 4-1.

Sure, but wasn't. Same as Sunderland and Stoke. We didn't score enough when dominant. Hopefully we've just had a run of bad luck.

Nope but I didn't throw a strop that day coz we did most of what we could and it was a bad day.

Today on the other hand we just looked for the ref to blow the whistle aftr 75 mins so that we wouldn't concede and thank **** we didnt.

Indeed, which doesnt often happen for any team in this league. See City today who were turgid for 80mins of the 90 and Man Utd who nearly 25mins in have barely had an attack. This league is about getting results.

We've had complaints on here after every single match. Can we get some clarification on what exactly is a good result for us?

Results don't come when you stop playing and start praying. They come when you actually try and hang in there.

We were 0-1 down at WHL and all I wanted was to hang in there and nick one from somewhere even if we had been **** all game but then Skrtel decided to take things into his own hands.
