Adam Morgan - how good is he?

Have been really impressd with this youngster since I saw him with the U18's last year on lfctv. He's recently played with Sterling in the Eng U17 team, and he looks class to me, a great finisher, good mover and I'm excited by this prospect. Scored some great goals last night and he definitley looks like a decent finisher - something we've lacked for too long I think.

The great thing is he's a scouser and I can't remember the last born and bred scouser at forward, to go on and become another Carragher, Gerrard professional role model footballer who is the best in his position.

Can you guys see him partnering Suarez up front in the not too distant future. I think he could be a real star for the first team one day when he's ready.

Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

He's already a legend in my eyes for doing this against the Mancs

If he continues at this rate then there is a slight chance he might get some Carling Cup games next season, but anything more than that and I'd be surprised.

I've not been that impressed by him for the few times I've seen him play. He seems a good finisher but his all round game I'm not so sure of.
        Are we winning?

Is he the one who said "I don't care where I play as long as it's Liverpool" or something along those lines.

We just need him to be become a top class player for that quote to become legendary..

I would take a natural goalscorer over a grafter anyday; scored again last night. Lets hope he keep progressing.

Doesnt look that amazingly gifted or anything but putting the ball in the net is a hell of a knack to have. He seems like a great lad aswell who's keen to improve all the time so hopefully he makes it.

Gonna need a local lad to hate on here once Gerrard and Carragher are retired afterall!

I'm amazed that some are not impressed with him. Not only is he an excellent goal scorer but he has brilliant movement and ability to find space.

I believe he will break through.

From a poster on RAWK a couple of months back:

"This season he's grown 4-5 inches and now very quick. He works his socks off and finishes pretty much everything inside the box. He started off as backup to the more physical N'goo in the u18's but sheer weight of goals after N'goo's injury kept him in the side. Similar sort of story in the U17's. The more physically impressive Thorpe kept him out of the team but Adam once again was more prolific. I'd wage that he'll absolutely dominate u18's this season and think there'll be a lot of calls to give him a go in the first team."

I guess that people are remembering Neil Mellor who was in a similar position; great record at youth and reserve levels but not good enough for the first team. It's a huge step up.

It is a huge step up for a lot of players but for some players it takes one or two games to get used to it.

Morgan may be fantastic from day one if he play with excellent players. We will only know that after he played in the PL for us at the same time he may need months and a lot of games to get used to the PL.

It took Owen for example one game to get used to it and the same for Fowler.

If the player have the right mentality then playing in the PL won't be a problem at all.
