We seem to be lacking some pace everyting we do seems lazy. Everton are so **** but we are showing them way too much respect.

Hollywood type of passes will not work in this game.

We are playing with one extra man and I'd like to see Stevie for Adam early in the second half.

dirks run up gave it away, he couldn't hit it anywhere else. adam should take them everytime.

we'l get a red 100% second half, probably gerrard when he comes on. take dirk or carroll off and get bellamy at them.

that was the worst red card decision ever, not even close to being a yellow. he got 100% of the ball. this ref is a cunt.

Can't agree with that......he's shown his energy, he's a big game player, and he's not one to let a missed peno get him down
Downing is practically invisible out there.....his main duty has been to lay the ball back 5yds to Enrique.
Carroll having a pretty poor game....even for a derby's forward performance.

W've just spent the last 20mins camped in their half! As usual this forum goes completely overboard.

When we win this place will be rammed with "not good enough" comments just like after Arsenal. Utterly bizarre.

Adam is a goal threat, I never take him off if we need a goal.

I wouldn't go that far. We've been crap before the red and unable to move to ball under pressure. We've settled down since that incident and should win this.

It's all about the bigger picture, imo. We've worked ourselves in to a position where we can win this against a very resilient team
