Great result

They were unlucky with the red card, but I thought that hindered our game too, as they parked the bus, forcing us to break them down, which we struggle to do.

Suarez was great, I'm happy Carroll got his goal, hopefully this will boost his confidence and will kick start his career.

I thought Bellamy did well when he came on, I think he is more suited to switching sides than Downing. Adam again I didn't think was great, hopefully when Gerrard is fully fit he will come into that role. I thought he was more disciplined in his positioning today than he has been playing in centre of midfield in the past.

Kenny's subs were spot on & changed the game in our favour. Carroll could have had a 2nd half hat-trick.

It wasn't nice to watch at times but the three points is all that matters, and if I'm saying that after every game, I'll be a happy man.
