Carroll and Downing are a double team. Play both or not at all.

When you've got Bellamy, Suarez, Gerrard, Adam, and Kuyt on the pitch you need Maxi instead of Downing...

Its not rocket science, so why is Clarke not drumming this into Kenny? Or why is Kenny not wowing us with this sort of selection?

how kenny dalglish is remembered is up to kenny dalglish. his side needs to start picking up maximum points. that's his job. he can do it, but he'll have to go if he doesn't.

Gutted at that result and bit annoyed to be honest. Typical Liverpool really. We just can't finish teams off, sure the keeper was excelelnt and we had loads of chances but ffs we should have had that done and dusted after 15 mins. Same thing happened agaisnt Sunderland & Stoke, missed chances against mancs too.

IMO Downing shouldn't be a starter for us, 9 league games 0 goals and 0 assists and his performances getting worse each game, also ridiclous playing him on the right, too predictable and no width. Kuyt was awful too. Thought Suarez(Needs to be more clinical), Enrique and Adam did well. Gerrard really didn't do much, cruised around not up to much.

The subs were odd IMO, i know Bellamy wasn't playing great but he makes things happen and did score the goal, hendo comes on at RM and sure enough is non existent. I'm not the greatest fan of Maxi but his constant exclusion is getting beyond a joke.

In summary, we had loads of chances and should of won but we didn't and the result is all that matters in the end.

Hernandez (£7 million) - Mexican - would have come on, have zero attempts on goal and leave with at least one goal to his name. Carroll - English - gets given a gilt edge chance and is 3 feet taller yet misses. How is it his fault?

What has nationality got to do with anything and they are two completely different types of striker plus strikers miss chances.

If you think it's Carroll's fault then god knows what you think of Suarez who at one point of the game had had 10 goal attempts, and he's foreign.

Another thing, I didn't really understand the substitutions, bringing Bellamy off was baffeling, him and Suarez were our best players.

Carroll should perhaps have come on sooner, but having no Bellamy or Downing to deliver crosses to him was a little odd

first of all the dalglish wow factor is long gone secondly i don't think kenny will get more money to spend and thirdly the pressure is well and truly on

Only results counts. I think he will get more money to spend IF we have a fair chance to finish in the top four when the window open. If we are say 10 points off fourth then he will probably get less money to spend.

Boston Red Sox sacked their legendary manager so they won't keep a manager only because he is a legend. If the results isn't good enough then he may very well be sacked.

As I already said. I want him to succeed of course so I don't want to hear that I want him sacked and replaced by Rafa.

Mexican = no prem league experience, language, new country, new teammates, etc. Wasn't anything racist you stupid gora.

Suarez's goal ratio is about on par with Milan Baros. His saving grace is he is magical with the ball and makes things happen for others. That's what I think of him.
