To win at Stoke is a great result whatever..

Suarez fantastic again but I still think Carroll will get pelters, unless he starts scoring..

    Blackburn will do...

Haha, Suarez threw his shirt and there's been a massive scramble in our section.
      Are we winning?

good win that, after the last 2 games we should have won that was a big result for us.

Suarez is a cut above most of the other players but there is some potential in this team once it all gels properly.

I missed the first half, how did that go?

Thought Carroll played well in the first half. He's starting to hold the ball up well and has linked well with Suarez once or twice.

We should be very pleased with that - tough place to come, only a mistake gave them a goal and we nullified most of their threat.

Badly lack a finisher but yet again we don't help Carroll by having virtually nothing decent coming into him from out wide. He worked as hard as anyone tonight.

                    Happy days.

I thought Carroll was decent tonight, but we weren't really playing to his strengths as you say, he really needs a few goals though to get people off his back.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Carroll's touch is appalling. We have no choice but to pump balls to his head or hope he gets on the end of a rebound. How do we play so differently from Newcastle where he was consistently manufacturing new assholes for defenders across the land?

Bring on Utd I say. I'm confident we can beat them with Suarez in the side. Be it home or away. Just need our CB's to be a bit composed.

Where have the triangles and third man running tactics gone? Pass, control, look, pass backwards...

                            United
                            Arsenal
                            Blackburn
                            Chelsea or Everton
                            Palace
                            Cardiff

                            ?

I'm sure that's the first win at their place since they were promoted to the prem. Wasn't confident at all before the game but an excellent performance.

For all the moaning about Agger at LB, I thought he had a brilliant game. Coates was superb apart from the mistake and I wouldn't be surprised if the defence were under instruction not to give throws away near the box, recovered well and very quick from it too. Lucas, best he's been all season without a doubt.

Henderson & Maxi were good, showing good link up especially but in patches, in & out of the game too much for wide players. Saying that one of them produced the cross that won the game so job very much done. Still think both would be better in a midfield three, or only one of them playing wide at the one time.

Some signs of good link up play with Suarez & Carroll. That can only come with time on the pitch, which they haven't had enough of together imo.

Suarez's first goal, contender for goal of the season so far, well for us anyway. Delighted with that win tbh. First time we've been in a domestic Q/F in god knows how long.

Team was built around him there, not quite the same at Liverpool, also he was not carrying a 35 million price tag in his head and getting analyzed every blade of grass he covered
