The roar from our fans when Suarez nets his second gave me the shivers. Fantastic assist by Hendo! Excellent movement by Suarez once more.

I can't wait to see the entire game when you upload it to Dailymotion Mostar!

Which makes me wonder... Can you download from Dailymotion so I can watch it on the go? (poor 3G coverage in my area)

really really enjoyed lasts night game - open, end to end at times, really good cup tie.

kelly had a very solid game, really like him -

agger - well, up there for man match, he's a top top footballer!!

spearing - gave us that edge and fight in midfield, chasing and pressurising everything - i'd be looking at starting him against west brom ahead adam, alongside lucas with gerrard in front.

carroll - looked a bit better, worked hard, involved well with link up play.

          that's it really-----

oh wait, suarez did ok too

We pushed on and won the game in the period where we have faded in so many games this season, Which is really positive. Adam related?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Is that a new version of Man of the Match?

Stoke boss Tony Pulis bemoaned the display of referee Lee Probert in their 2-1 Carling Cup defeat to Liverpool.

Probert disallowed a John Walters goal for a foul on Reds keeper Pepe Reina and did not award a penalty when Peter Crouch went over in the box late on.

"It's got to be even stevens and tonight we don't think it was even stevens in terms of some of the decisions," Pulis said.

"You can't have some rules in one box and different rules in the other box. We beat them fair and square last month but I don't think we've been beaten fairly today."

Walters' header was ruled out for a push by Ryan Shawcross on Reina when the score was 0-0.

Stoke took the lead soon afterwards through Kenwyne Jones but were sunk by two second-half strikes from Liverpool striker Luis Suarez, with the winner coming four minutes from full-time.

Pulis was particularly incensed by the disallowed goal and suggested Probert had given his team a rough deal in the past.

"We have had Lee a few times now and had three goals disallowed," he added.

"One at Aston Villa a couple of years ago, a great goal by Tuncay against Everton last year, and tonight it was a perfectly good goal.

"You will have to ask Lee why [he disallowed it] because we don't know why."

Pulis was also angered that Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was not shown a red card for a first-half foul on Matthew Etherington.

"Jamie Carragher doesn't play the ball at all but if that was one of our players we would expect them to be sent off," he said.

He's also admitted Suarez should have had a penalty in the first half and that Woodgate got away with at least two clear bookings and...no, wait...he hasn't.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

I know all managers are hypocrites but I hate Stoke and he's really pissed me off.

The way they play, pushing the rules to the limits, he has some cheek - especially after they beat us last time by virtue of 6ft+ and 13 stone+ Jon Walters throwing himself to the ground in the box and we had *blatant* penalties not given our way (Delap handball for example). Just **** off Pulis.

Carra sent off for that? It was the most nailed on booking ever, no yellow would have been ridiculous and a red would have been ridiculous. Seems he's forgotten the stonewall pens we should have aswell and Glen Whelan mauling Spearing when he was already on a yellow.
