interesting, Stevie and Xabi in the centre, bolo left.
Hope Pennant has a good game, he really looks like he is suffering from lack of form and confidence.

Rafael Benitez has made two changes to the side that beat Bordeaux in midweek for this afternoon's Premiership clash with Reading at Anfield.
Jermaine Pennant and Bolo Zenden come into the team for Luis Garcia and Momo Sissoko.

Team in full: Reina, Finnan, Riise, Hyypia, Carragher, Gerrard, Alonso, Pennant, Zenden, Crouch, Kuyt. Subs – Martin, Agger, Fowler, Gonzalez, Sissoko.

        Zenden for Garcia (Inj)
Pennant for Momo (Pennant was superb against Reading recently) with Gerrard moving into CM.

So Rafa hasn't tinkered at all really

well lets see how Xabi and Stevie hold it in the centre for us. Against Gala and Blackburn we were left exposed through the centre.

This was changes that had to be made, but the papers will call it tinkering, no doubt.

And Bolo as first scorer today.

Yes we were. But its good to see Rafa pick an attacking centre midfield that will let us really get at Reading. Once Gerrard moved to the centre in midweek, we really took it to Bordeaux.

We have to be bold and do the same today.

              Well done Rafa!

We'll need to thrash Reading today to climb up to 6th above Everton (if they lose 1-0). It is possible as I feel we will go to town today on them.

The offal team sheet suggests Pennant left, Gerrard right, Zenden and Alonso in the middle!!!

I wouldn't bet against Gerrard on the left though

Biy worrying when you think how we went to pieces the other week when momo went off.

It'll be ok. Stevie is an experienced player.
