    Ray Clemence in hospital

Just picked this up off a website
    Get well soon Clem...

Fabio Capello guided England to a famous victory against Spain amid concerns for one of his most trusted lieutenants.

Ray Clemence - officially titled Head of National Teams - was taken to hospital on the eve of the match and was missing at Wembley on Saturday.

On Sunday night the FA confirmed that the popular Clemence, who won 61 England caps and has served his country as goalkeeping coach under Glenn Hoddle, Kevin Keegan, Sven Goran Eriksson and Capello, was unwell.

'Ray Clemence has been unwell while with England and is having tests in hospital,' said an FA statement.

'At this time Ray would like to thank everyone for the kind messages he's received and the FA would like to request privacy for his family,' the statement added.

The 63-year-old, who is also expected to miss Tuesday’s game against Sweden, stepped down from international duty in 2005 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer but regained his health to serve his country again.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Nothing new, as far as I can google, came across this bit, that's about it:

At this stage it is unclear exactly what is wrong with Ray, but we do know he was taken ill on Friday and taken to hospital where he has since undergone tests. Ray missed England`s win against Spain and is highly unlikely to take any further part in this international camp, but of course his health comes first.

Obviously the biggest worry is that this is in some way connected to Ray`s past problems, when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2005, but with his return to top level coaching, we can only hope that the illness is something very much confined to his past and not current problems.
