        It's only a week or so ago that I watched a feature on LFV TV about Brad and Luca's disease, and how he and his misses were publicising a leukemia charity.

        Very sad news indeed.

              This is too sad to think about. Losing a child so young is not natural but I hope they can find strength in each other and they know the whole football community is there for them.

                Dalglish was also asked for his thoughts following the news that Brad Jones's son, Luca had passed away.

                He said: "It was disappointing for everyone at the football club. Luca had been ill for a while and unfortunately he never got any better. That's when football becomes irrelevant when a boy loses his life.

                "I don't think we'd ever use Brad's misfortune to motivate ourselves, I don't think that would be right. I think everyone's been in touch with him but you dread to think what the boy's going through. He knows everyone at the football club is thinking of him and feels hugely sympathetic towards him."

                        ****ing leukemia, it's a scourge in our society as it takes our kids away from us needlessly & leaves us with empty spaces in our lives...the sooner they can come up with a cure, the better!

                          Can I ask a football question in this thread that might sound insensitive or is this thread specifically for good wishes for Brad and his family?
                          If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                              Words cannot express the situation accurately - it would kill me if it were one of mine.

                              All our thoughts are with Brad and his family at this very sad time. Wishing and praying for all the comfort and consolation for them all.
