I don't think Maxi really has a future at the club to be honest. Kenny just doesn't seem to rate him.

If Downing continues to contribute nothing in terms of goals and assist then Maxi deserves to be given a run of games in the league in place of Downing.

by playing downing it stopped richards running at enrique all game. maxi wouldn't have been as useful, although the flip side is, we may of had more goal threat. I think he'll play on tuesday.

Speaking to a Liverpool fan in work today. He was waiting on a Liverpool draw for £11,000.

He's not a really a true LFC fan.

It blows my mind to think, for any reason**, that any Liverpool supporter would be happy with a draw over a Liverpool win.

He's a part time janitor/cleaner bloke, sound lad. Minimum wage I'd suspect. £11,000 is a lot of money too him.

If it wasn't for his ''one foot'' we wouldn't have scored and he almost scored minutes later with his imaginary foot. Was probably Hart's best save IMO.

said it million times adam is our most important player in the team if hes on form then we'll be ok if not we tend to be terrible, his importance makes him open to more scrutiny, few times johnson/henderson was the better option but he looks to downing as its an easier pass for him to make then dare think of using his right and i think I can remember him passing with his right and spooning into the main stand

I wouldn't go that far but there is no doubt that he is playing really well at the moment.

Let's see if he can keep up these types of performances on more regular basis.

The sheer amount of goals he's been involved in cannot be beat. We'll be lucky if Gerrard comes back playing to the standard Charlie is right now.

My view point would be the same.

He's playin' better than early in the season and deserves all the credit but it remains to be seen if he can continue with this type of impact as the season is progressing.

In terms of Stevie vs Charlie comment, I would never put them in the same sentence.

Stevie is a proven quality and is still top notch player that imo Adam can only dream about.

Just watched replay on LFCTV. Some thoughts.....

Kuyt was better than I remembered, put in a real shift. Faded slightly in the second half but was decent overall.

Lucas and Adam were very good again. Second game in a row where Adam has looked like a Liverpool player, I'm still far from convinced he's good enough but he's gradually winning me over.

Johnson was excellent both defensively and going forward.

Henderson was decent at times but isn't ready to be starting games yet.

At times the gap between our midfield and Suarez was massive.

Downing looks out of his depth at Liverpool. If Maxi plays well tomorrow I will be seriously dissapointed if he is on the bench again against Fulham and Downing starts.

Not sure what the future holds for Carroll TBH.
