There was one instance, think it was when Bellamy got in down the inside right channel and shot across goal on the half turn. Carroll should've bust a gut to get in at the back post...either for a rebound or to turn in Bellamy's effort. As it was he was standing still about 10 yards out from goal.

Well Kenny played Bellamy on the right but there is no point as he is too fast for Carroll and had to wait for him make his way into the box.

Not sure that presence of Downing from early on would make any significant difference.

well the point being, Downing can get some crosses in for the lad. unfortunately bellamy was ****ing wasteful when he had the chance to cross. in fact we are a wasteful team. we're almost a good team, its almost there but if we don't start banging them in, we'll get pulled down.

He should be the furthest striker, playing on the shoulder of the last defender - If you look at his position for the offside goal, he's wrapped up nice and neat in the centre backs grasp - how in the hell is he going to do anything from there?

Can't help feeling if you play Carroll, you must play Downing to try and supply him. Also little point playing Downing without a target to hit.

Thought downing was really unlucky with that run and shot. it just won't happen for him.

lets hope we hit 12 past QPR.

1. We could've fired balls into Carroll all night and he still wouldn't have doone anything with it.

Enrique, Bellers, Carroll, Suarez, Adam, GJ, Hendo all like hanging around the edge of the 18 yard line. NONE like to be in the six yard area in case the ball bounces off the keeper.
