See those pics would be bad had Dembele nicked ahead of Spearing and got the ball away, he didn't - Spearing won the 50/50, his follow through is what caught the player.

My question is how could he have won the ball and not hit the man?

At the speed they were both going he couldn't

Its the finishing thats letting us down. Look at that objectively after the anger has died down and its really not that terrible. We were conned out of a point at least by a sending off and a **** up by Pepe / Glen.

Our central defence looked decent - there's little better as a Liverpool fan than seeing Agger surge forward. Skrtel looks more solid. Henderson looked good in the middle, but waned when he went out wide in the 2nd half. Adam is getting fitter and more influential. But for a couple of wayward passes, he was very good. Suarez creates - but is getting frustrated. Bellamy is an option, but he might have been to heat up tonight. Downing had a great shot.

If the goals were an inch bigger either way, or the posts were narrower, we would have scored loads more this season!
