Big guns linked to Brescia starlet.

    from tribal football

Brescia are battling to hang onto midfielder Marik Hamsik.
The Slovakian teenager has Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea amongst several European giants all chasing his signature.

Serie B Brescia want £6 million for Hamsik, who only recently turned 19, and have already rejected a £2 million offer from Fiorentina for co-ownership of the midfield tyro.

Along with the Premiership trio, Barcelona and Real Madrid of Spain, plus Inter, Juventus and AC Milan have all made official enquiries with Brescia about Hamsik in the last ten months.

Co-ownership is nothing new in Europe. Actually I heard the commentators during the Barcode game with Palermo saying they'd never heard of that before, which is wierd as I have.... Eto for example was co-owned by Madrid and Mallorca before he signed for Barca

Its particularly common in south america. Well it is with agencies and clubs both owning players.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
