never an easy place to go. as it stands, no game in the league is an easy one for us. oh to get back to the days when you expect to win these type games. like we all knew utd would win today. we'll get there i'm sure of it!

451 with Bellamy & Downing making it a 433 at times. good to see a player in form in shelvey getting a run out. no point bringing him back to stagnate on the bench. a goal today and his lfc career could be off and running. ok, walking, he ain't the quickest. hope he takes his chance, belts one in from 30 yards. when was the last goal we scored from distance?

I wasn't convinced by Shelvey, but his loan spell should have given him confidence. I hope he makes an impact today, I'm a bit nervous that he's such an important player in this game. Time for him to prove himself anyway. Apart from Shelvey we have some real pace in the side today.

Didn't he play wide left in a front 3 at Blackpool when he was getting his goals. He's not a winger from what we've seen but he could play out wide.

That said if we were playing a 4-3-3 you would imagine Bellamy would play on the left side of the front 3, and Shelvey as one of the 3 midfielders. So to be honest I've no idea how this team will setup...
