Wow, he did eight and a half, flat out hundered metre sprints in 88 minutes, and on top of that he'll have done other running at speed that isn't considered a sprint, also various other in game activites too, that is one hell of game he played.

City getting rid of him must go down as the dumbest decision ever the ****ing idiots.

        Our gain though.

He has been brilliant for us in this second stint, he's always had great pace. Remember that goal for City against United at OT a few years ago when he was down the left.

That to me is a goal that will always stay in my mind. The way he picked it up, ran at Ferdinand to curl it past Van Der Sar. What a goal that was, as good as anything you'll see from the likes of Messi et al.

His quick sprints aren't just applied to him tracking back which he did a lot of during that City CC game but he attacks and sprints quickly when on the ball. He has natural great energy which a lot footballers lack, that also helps. I knew he'd worked with Vertjongen as he'd tweeted (Vertjongen) a few weeks back a really good article about sports science and how you need to tailor fitness programmes to footballers, especially those who suffer from problems such as Craig.

I guess the same could be applied to Ledley King who has had persistent knee problems for years, perhaps he has adopted a similar scheme as he seems to be playing more regularly now than he ever has done.

Thing about Bellars is that he knows when to sprint.

None of this mindless running like Lennon etc. Bellamy is a very clever player - much more than people give him credit for.

          Class act.

He's 32, not a hundred and two, that article title is really exaggerating a bit.

He should have started or came on a hell of a lot earlier imo - another blunder on Kenny's part I'm afraid...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

There's a reason why he can't play for longer periods and it's not because Kenny doesn't want to.
                  Are we winning?

Then don't put him on for the last 10 mins & expect a miracle ffs! Another example is Maxi who's a ten times better footballer than BOTH Donkey Downing & Henderson yet doesn't even play maybe cos he's not British enough!

Or maybe its because he's been injured and has been **** every time he has played in the last few months. I quite like Maxi, and he is at least a goal threat, but he really is not the messiah, and to suggest that Kenny isn't playing him because of his nationality is frankly insulting and disrespectful, along with being obviously ridiculous when he's playing Suarez & Kuyt and leaving Carroll on the bench.

We didn't win yesterday because of bad finishing, plain and simple, nothing to do with team selection or tactics considering we out performed our direct rivals for 4th (even according to them) and should have won the game.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                      Mine angry and defrauded young?

Maxi is 32. Downing and Henderson are 27 and 21.

Where's Bellamy at the moment chaps, is he injured?

                            Seems to have vanished.

                              Yep injured.

                                Cheers Shaggy.

I was wondering why he hadn't been playing, was worried he might have been dropped or something.
