    Craig Bellamy Appreciation Thread

32yrs old, booted out of LFC yet comes back, runs around like a kid playing Sunday league, never stops trying, cost us nothing and probably our best player (or at least top 3 this season).

A real credit to our club and really shows how some smart management can produce top class output.

I'm surprised you've found something to be pleased about

You sure you dont wanna have a whinge because he's not a bit taller?

He could do with a bigger neck

I just really enjoy seeing him running around in an LFC shirt. Other professionals should take note.

He's been a cracking signing for sure and it's great to see how much desire and passion he has.

I liked him before and he's always chipped in with a goal or two when needed. And he's keeping out of trouble and putting on a good show.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Brilliant, ****ing love him and it love him even more when you see him telling someone to **** off!

He's a brilliant little nutter who is great to have around. I wonder how tall he would be if he actually had a neck?

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Haha I counted at least 3 times today telling the ref/oppostion to **** off. Love that passion in a player even if it could get us in trouble from time to time. Born to be a red and he's got the attitude we need to take us to the top.

Not quite sure I would class his leaving the 1st time as being booted out as I thought we used the money towards the purchase of Torres but I agree he's a great player to have at the club. He's the sort player you hate if he's playing against you but you love having in your team.

One of Rafa’s biggest mistakes was not playing Bellamy (unused sub) during the 2007 Champions League final.
                        Another MASSIVE game

I like Craig, but I think there's a wee bit of a tendency to overstate what he gave us in his first stint. He was a somewhat frustrating player for us who didn't really click for us as a first XI player IMO (far too impulsive, forever offside etc), and that's without bringing up the discipline issue, and I don't really believe it was the wrong time to get rid off, especially in our financial circumstances at the time, and what Rafa needed to do to bring in players that he wanted.
That said, his return to the squad in a more limited fashion is great to see, and you can see his bundle of energy mixed with a more mature appreciation for what he can bring to a developing team.
                          Keep it up.
