If you remove Suarez, I'm guessing that's more than the rest of the squad combined.

I'd like us to keep him for another season, but if he really wants to leave then fair enough. He's a terrific player, great attitude and work-rate. He's one of the few players we have who you feel could produce something from nothing at any moment. I hope we've got some decent replacements lined up for the players who are leaving.

and now the squad is smaller with less experience

the loan market is the footballing equivalent of shopping at TKMaxx. There are some names there that you recognise, but they're all a bit battered and worse for wear.

80 grand a week player with known injury problems leaves shocker ... I find the lack if intellect amongst the fans more depressing than the so called gutting of the club.

For years people screamed Kuyt ... hes just not good enough .. as soon as he leaves he is remembered like some fabled Nordic God of war
Maxi ... looked upon as a luxury... again promoted to Mesi like status
Bellamy sure a great player ... but lets not forget he did not exactly set the world on fire when he was with us first time around, sure he had a good season last year, but I think the fact that everyone else was having such a mare made his star shine that much brighter ... if we are replacing players like Maxi and Bellers with young players like Allen and Borini then you wont hear any complaints from me ....

serious trimming on big waged players that are pushing on a bit.

Big risk though as losing players that change make things happen and have vital experience, Bellamy looks a dead cert to leave too which IMO is a mistake (unless we have some quality lined up). With few weeks until the season starts, we have a very thin and inexperienced squad, even if we sign some players late in the day we have a very unforgiving fixture list and there will be no bedding in period, we will need all our signings to hit the ground running!

IMO we are going to have a difficult start to the season.
