That pretty much sums up my my feelings on him too.
    Oh I don't know.

One of my favourite LFC players. Loved him when we signed him from Blackburn but was gutted when we sold him a year later. When we resigned him though I was made up and it was nice that he won the Carling Cup with us as it was well deserved.

To be fair to Bellers who wouldn't have wanted to hit Riise with a golf club? I know I wanted to after his late own goal against the chavs.

        Bellers

Made the most of what he had, honestly he's one of my favourite players to play for us, just for his attitude.

The bit about Charlie Adam will likely get many an airing over the coming days

My abiding memory will always be that IMO he should have started the 2007 CL final ahead of Kuyt. His pace would have destroyed Milan's ageing defence and his status would have been assured.

Always admired his honesty for interviews. Most sound like a broken record but Bellamy was quite refreshing to listen to.

Never really top drawer IMO but a great player and refreshingly honest with it. Similar to Suarez in the respect that he played without fear and every minute was played "on the edge". He could have easily,in a different lifetime, have ended his career with a much greater medal haul than he did but you know what? I don't think he gave a **** about all that **** and just followed his instincts. His berating of John Terry, both on and off of the field, was a joy to behold. Also,he handled his first departure under Benitez with huge credit. No ranting and raving, just thanks for having had the opportunity to live a boyhood dream. Will be remembered with enormous affection I'm sure.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

                  Exactly the same.

Felt he deserved another season after he first left us as his form really picked up after his court case. Was chuffed when he came back for another year and what an impact he had.

Really good player. Every team needs a Bellamy.

                    He is one of us.

Love his quotes about the Chav fans and how he could never play for fans like that. Wish him all the best in his retirement.

I hope he handles his retirement well, he needs to be on the TV as people would never switch off!

I still laugh at the game he played in his last season with LFC against Newcastle. Tim Krul comes up to him to have a pop, and he points upwards, craning his stumpy neck to look him in the face and calmly declares "I'll ****ing knock you out, boyo"

Never got the hang of that offside rule all the same. For a relatively quick lad as well.
