Not really. If Luis is found guilty, we'll appeal it and any suspension will not come into effect until the appeal is done with.

Shelvey played in the hole behind Suarez against Villa. Obviously Steve and Kenny decided to test out his goal scoring form from Blackpool. His movement was better than has been at any time in the past with us. However, with Carroll and Maxi almost destined to start I can see him being rested.

Its actually refreshing to have rested and hungry attackers being forced to wait for their big chance (Kuyt, Maxi, Carroll). Hopefully one or all of them will be out to prove their worth. And Bellamy / Shelvey / Downing waiting to pounce if any of them don’t take their chances.

I hope he's picked, good for him to get the first game out of the way ASAP, not have this hanging over his head for many weeks. Just go out, play, take the abuse and score a couple.

Let him know that we all are fully behind him! As Kenny mentioned, we MUST make sure he never walks alone. A lot of YNWA's are dished out perhaps without consideration and thought. But if it indeed IS the clubs ethos - now's the fuggin time!!!
