I can't wait for this game tonight, just to get away from thinking about all the Suarez ****. It'll be good to get back to the football for a while! The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

All day I was thinking that of course he'll start and he'll play a blinder. But...Originally posted by Craig_H View PostBollocks to leaving him out. He should start. And be captain. And be carried out onto the pitch by his team mates.
The more I think about it I don't know if he will be risked. If he is genuinely innocent (which I think he is) and he's going onto the pitch knowing the FA, the English media and most of the English public have it in for him, what sort of frame of mind will he be in? What happens when 5 mins in, he gets emptied from behind, the ref tells him to get up, the commentators accuse him of making the most of it (not that he'll hear that) and the crowd jeer him. How is he likely to react? The Wigan defenders will know they can't deal with him, so will no doubt do everything to wind him up (will full support from the ref), so how would anyone deal with this?
Tough call if you ask me as I wouldn't trust myself on a pitch in these circumstances. I'm obviously not the only one as I've read numerous posts in the Suarez thread about people being absolutely raging with the decision, so I imagine it's much worse for Luis.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yea, but he's got 10 team mates on the pitch with him who are going to bulldoze through concrete walls to deliver the scoring chances on a plate for him. He's got the whole club behind him. And Wigan aren't that bad, apart from their **** of a chairman, no?Originally posted by RedReet View PostAll day I was thinking that of course he'll start and he'll play a blinder. But...
