Exactlly. It will be disappointing if we don't get 4th. But we have a chance for at least one trophy this year, we finally have strong owners who will take time and rebuild this entire club from top to bottom the right way. We might take a few years to get back to the top, but people are reacting like if we don't get champions league we are finished. We're not an embarrassment. We have a squad full of decent players. We just don't have enough really good ones.

This is the problem for me, really Suarez and Gerrard are our only top class attacking players.

I'm going to close it, not because of anyone's opinion, but because of the volume of insults etc being thrown around. Personally I think the OP pretty wrong on a lot of levels (and would point him towards the example of Lucas as a lesson in not judging people like Henderson too early), but I can understand an element of frustration (however misguided most of the original points made might have been) and I don't think anyone getting abusive in response really gets their points across as well as they could with more measured posts.
