Downing - he's not exactly covering himself in glory, he hasn't really produced anything since he came her, but he hasn't been terrible either, just very, very ordinary.

tonight it definately looked like a confidence thing, he just passed the ball sideways at times rather than take it on himself, the man from within needs to stand up and be counted.

We have spent a huge amount of money on decent/average British players. You don't become a top 4 side with the likes of Downing, Adam and Henderson starting week in week out. They should be squad players in a top 4 side.

After Suarez was subbed tonight all of our midfield and attacking players were British. Perhaps that was intentional by Kenny. I sincerely hope not.

Still believe we can get a top 4 finish but it will only happen if we spend a considerable amount of money in January. We clearly need a quality striker but IMO a versatile midfielder is almost as important. Our midfield in the 1st half was good but got dominated in the 2nd I thought. Henderson and Adam are not players capable of bossing a midfield. Gerrard's return is not the answer as the man is just not reliable anymore. We've been linked with Fer, Strootman, Diarra, Sissoko, any 1 of those players would make a world of difference IMO.

We aren't brilliant because of our finishing. But we're not very far off being a very very good team. The way we control games and keep possession is outstanding IMO, we just need to turn this into goals. Don't see why you'd be so negative ffs.

I've been a real fan of Adam all season, but I think his last two games have been poor. spearing back yet?

It almosts smells of complacency knowing that he'll always be picked for the middle now that Lucas is out. He either puts in fantastic boss performances or dog **** ones.

I knew he missed the penalty before he even placed it. Was hoping he'd mis-hit as that was the only way it was going in.

Downing is dog turd. Enrique was so annoyed with him that Stuart went into the middle and killed all our momentum just so he could stay away from Jose's angst.

That was ****. Adam's poorest performance for a while. Set pieces FFS. Massively disappointed. We say this **** all the time but 6 points out of 6 in the next two is an absolute must. We always put pressure on ourselves with these draws against **** teams.

We lack cutting edge, we are a few top class players away from where we should be, not just a striker.

The one positive I can take from the game is once again Enrique and that - for me - well fit beautiful lady police woman behind the dug-outs, the blond. I thought she was beautiful! How can she be in the ****ing police force, doimand ladeh!
