That was ****. Adam's poorest performance for a while. Set pieces FFS. Massively disappointed. We say this **** all the time but 6 points out of 6 in the next two is an absolute must. We always put pressure on ourselves with these draws against **** teams.
Its over Shaggy, if there was one defining point in the season we lost our CL spot it was that penalty.
To be fair we're playing like a league winning team barring a Rooney/Van Persie. However, when you don't score from gilt edge chances you go from that to a midtable team.
Spending that amount has got us this level, will the owners spend that much again to push us on...?
If we had only brought in Enrique, Bellamy and Coates last summer and kept Meireles we would be at the very least in 6th place.
Henderson, Adam and Downing give us depth but have they improved the quality of the squad ?? I don't believe they have tbh. For 43 million pounds that is not money well spent. Add on the 35 million for Carroll and we have spent 78 million pounds for very little return in terms of results and league position.
Nige, we've had our 'easy' games. Lots of them. The teams 4 points above us will get those soon and no doubt win them. Games like these always come back to haunt, which makes the Premier League such a dramatic league.
Knew it was going to be one of those nights. Trying to pass our way into the net and over complicating stuff in and around the box as usual. BBC says we've scored 33 goals less than Man City this season. Says it all. Bringing Carroll on with 4 mins to go - what's the point? Enrique is class.

We'll see. We've lost only once in 15 games. We were never going to be on the heels of Man. Utd and City and we're currently competing for 4th which was our aim. Why the negativity? Yes, it could have been better but I would have been more frustrated if we didn't create any chances. As it stands, we're bossing most games and creating a least 3 clear cut chances every game.
