As regards some of the players mentioned.

Hendo is young but looks lightweight in CM and doesn't force himself on the game to make a sufficient impact, whether or not he can in the future i'm not so sure, but we need him firing "now" and not in the future. Adam had done well for us but was awful today, Shelvey very young but has to be the most unathletic footballer i've ever seen, lopes around but he has time on his side and is learning the game. Kuyt.... well poor oul Dirk legs look shot. Love the guy but hasn't performed well this season, to say the least.

As for Stuart Downing well, when we signed Downing alot of people saying his production/crossing etc was great and that's why we bought him, had decent pre season and start to league, but 17 league games 0 goals 0 assists it's an incredible stat.

IMO he has been absolutely dreadful, there's no sugar coating his timid, placid, lack lustre approach. He offers nothing atm, and this is not a witch hunt before people start saying support players etc, i'm pretty sure at this stage it's a general view and a realistic & truthful one at that, so i don't think i'm saying anythign wrong here.

P.S. With each game going by, i seem to be shouting more and more at Stuart on my tv, he nearly got my swanky Denby mug throw at him today

P.P.S What the **** is up with our finishing!!!!!!!??
This is again going to come across as me defending Downing but I think the use of this stat is a little unfair, he has created some very good chances for players only for the person on the end to waste them. Critisising him for not creating enough chances is fair enough, but critisising him for other people not taking the chances is unfair.

There was a similar stat about Maxi going around about April last season which said he was the player in the league who had created the most chances for his team mates without actually having an assist.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We couldn't win. I think we did everything possible. These last days have been very difficult for me and I want to thank the great support received by all of you!!

No hemos conseguido la victoria , creo que hicimos todo lo posible . Estos últimos días han sido muy difíciles para mi y quiero agradecer el gran apoyo recibido por todos !!!!

I think he looks devastated in that picture. I think it shows exactly how tough the times are right now for him. But then again could be me. I'm used to see him smile of the pitch.

I hear ya mate unfortunately i just can't defend Downings performances. So dissapointing and i can't ignore his lack of production, which was the number 1 reason he was bought.

Maxi is a completely different player than Downing, he looked lacking match fitness to me today. But his link up play is good, moves well to receive the ball and tries to be positive. His runs are his best assest IMO. Downing doens't take players on, doesn't get down the line to get balls in, his movement is terrible and he isn't offering us anything in the form of end product, which is what we are struggling with at the moment.

Above all for me, his mentality is what is getting on my wick the most. No aggression or desire, no passion or balls. The guy has to stand up and be counted, IMO all the excuses in the world can't deflect from his poor performances. Not a starter IMHO and possibly another stop gap LM in a long list of stop gaps.

          Imo we need better.

Ba is decent footballer, who I think currently is playing above all expectations but the question is if he can continue to do so regularly in PL.

Playing for LFC is extremely difficult and Carroll, who also last year was equally as productive playing for the same club, can be used as a testament of that.

Plus he had some serious knee injury and NCFC will not sell him and even if they would it wouldn't be cheap and he'll be 27 in May so he may be on the end of age group FSG may find it attractive.

All this racial bull**** is getting to him.

It was very sad to see him leave the pitch today. For a moment when he put his hands over his eyes I thought he was crying.

Same here. And you just wait and see what happens once things happen when he's out privately with his wife and child. And you best believe, it will happen. I'm not talking physical, but mental abuse. And it's not as if he can't take it, I'm sure he can, but the wife and kid? Thick bacon-munching builder cunts giving it large if he's buying some **** in a shop? It's bound to happen. How he was booed today by the nothing team's fans, just wait and see... the public seems to have made their mind up, wait and see how bad it gets if he DOES get cleared. People will go even more nuts!

thought the same myself. Clearly a man with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

To be a dubbed a racist is a disgusting tag. IMO this is only the start of it, and it'll get much much worse. Hopefully he can come through this a stronger person, his family are gonna take some abuse too IMO.

Although different circumstances look at the likes of Joey Barton, the things that guy has done and he walks around like butter wouldn't melt. Hopefully Suarez can put this all behind him and we can appreciate and talk about his genius on the pitch

When the ban kicks in. He should go home relax for that period and train with Nacional to keep his fitness up.

Kenny deciding to take him off with 3 minutes to go to the inevitable chorus of boos couldn't have helped him any. Stupifyingly bonkers thing to do I felt.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of as it may lead to an end of his relationship with our club.

I wouldn't be surprised if some team in Spain recognizes the opportunity in these circumstances, shows an interest and he puts in a transfer request not coz he wants to leave but because of the concerns for his and his family safety due to potential physical and emotional abuse in England may cause him to consider that option.

He's made of stern stuff Suarez, I think his South American upbringing helps.

I love him, yes he may not be the most prolific of goal scorers and yes maybe things are getting to him but he's the most exciting thing we've had at this club for years, more exciting than Torres even and I can see why Kenny has so much praise and belief in him.

He seems very normal, he relates to the fans and helps unites us and he is going through a particularly difficult time right now but it still playing better than the majority of our squad. The fans love and adore him and can see that he gives his all.

He also unites and brings a sense of solidarity amongst the players not just the fans, his teammates know he's not a racist and will stick by him.

There is a lot more to Luis Suarez than the guy we see on the pitch. He's always the first to tweet after a match as he knows the expectations placed upon him. He's a family man, he loves his family and he loves his teammates and his adopted LFC family, that's what we are to him now.

Finally we have someone who knows what it means to wear that red shirt and in particular the number 7 shirt. No wonder Kenny has so much faith in him.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I've been to Wigan's ground many times and most of the crowd are away supporters. Wigan don't really have many supporters, and the proper fans are generally in one corner of the stadium. The rest of the ground tends to be full of away supporters and people who just want to watch a premiership game. If Suarez was being abused tonight in such a half-arsed ground then what sort of reception will he receive when he plays in front of a passionate crowd? The only thing I will say is that most Wigan supporters also support Manchester United.
