To be fair mate, there was only once when he got in the right position and really attacked the ball.

You can't attack a ball that is floated towards you with no pace while being pushed around by defenders who have time to set up and block you out.

He is a big strong guy and needs to show that more often imo, also too often he just isn't in the box.

i know what your saying but the amount of times when Carroll was screaming to cross it and our wide players just held it up. Still great win and hopefully gets us started at home for the rest of the season.
