    Alan Pardew

Lets just say Rafa goes back to spain at the end of his contract as reported in the past.

Do you think Pardew would make a good Liverpool manager. Seems quite a passionate block who gets his teams playing football the right way. Have been quietly impressed with him since he got West Ham back up and yesterday only highlighted his passion to win.

Or am I talking sheeeeeeeeite as per usual

I really like Pardew. I think he's a good manager and a decent bloke but I don't think he's ready to be a Liverpool manager just yet. For a start, he has no real European experience, he's never won a major trophy and he's never managed a team of stars. Such inexperience may well count against him.

If and when Rafa leaves I would like O' Neill to take over but that's another thread all together...

          would rather O'Neill every time.
Think Pardew has some way to go to prove he is good enough to manage LFC.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

          * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

                            way more experience.

Recent history says the next manager will be from the contenient anyway.

                              Really?
                              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
