just shows you can't read too much into players from overseas (lower profile ones) just because they've performed well in another league/an international tournement or they come with a rep as being the 'next big thing'.

Best to hold tongue until they've had a couple of months to settle either way.

Recent Spurs signings:

Lennon, Robinson, Carrick, Defoe, Tainio, Dawson, Huddlestone.

All brought in (fairly) chaeply, and all top quality players.

I think there is some credence in what he said; they've bought lots and bought generally very well.
