Dickov said in the presser that the lad has calmed down as is ok now.

I wonder, if/when the guilty party (if it happened, which my instinct tells me unfortunately, that it did) is found and banned, would it be something to consider, to invite the fella to a match, VIP treatment etc, as a gesture of apology on behalf of LFC fans who, thanks to a minority, have had their name tarnished?

Or would that not come across well?

I think we have to bare careful

As much as I'd like to believe LFC fans wouldnt be that stupid I've been to many games in the past and sat next to people who are one cell short of being an amoeba

Invite him to Anfield would prob get responses about "oh why would he want to go back to a den of racists"

Half a dozen FA Cup Final tickets for him and some mates might be a bit better received.

Anything we do will be taken badly by whoever has an agenda and wants to see it the way they do

It's out in the open now and the police are involved. Best we could do is come heavily on the culprit and show we won't tolerate this kind of disgusting behaviour.

I can just picture Fergie turning up at their club first thing in the morning to advise them on how handle the matter.

I'm not sure that would help.

Well, seeing the way we mishandled the Suarez affair, we should get some professional help to stop this turning into another cluster****.

there's people all over the world being shot, blown up, raped, abused, shagged to death and over in england we are going into meltdown over a few isolated incidents of a racial manner. its serious of course it is, disgusting in fact, but all these incidents are of a verbal nature. we have to be very careful as a nation we're not stirring things up to such an extent that things spark off all over the country, physical attacks and the like. you can bet your last pound, some people will be loving all this, waiting for it to go off.

First of all - I see several of LFC-fans apologising to Adeyemi via Hazell - and that a decent way to re-establish contact (and Hazell tweets these apologises around for everyone to see!).

Secondly - Let this be a policematter - and let the club react to the cooperation with the police. Clear talk - open talk - and professional talk.

Thirdly - It needs to be mentioned somewhere between the lines (and not to provoke any reaction), that Suarez wasn't convicted of racial abuse, only use of abusive language with referece to the colour of Evras skin (and still in an unjust trial). There are clearly differencies - and thats why LFC acts differently.
                              - - - - -

Just got home from the game after a **** 2 and half hour drive down the M62 and M6.

I was in the lower centenary, row 5, near the Kop end. I saw most of the incident from about 30 yards away. At the time, the Kop were all singing the Luis Suarez song. Adeyemi was on the touchline next to the front row of the Kop. I saw him react and then he walked back onto the pitch, turning to point a couple of times in the direction of the Kop. He told one of his teammates and then the ref. The game was stopped and at this point I was about 15 yards from the ref and the players. Adeyemi was visibly upset and was using his shirt to wipe his eyes. His teammates and a couple of Liverpool players, Gerrard and Kuyt were trying to give him support.

What was shameful afterwards and something that has yet been reported is that the Kop booed him for the rest of the game every time he was near the ball - not just a few but the THE KOP. That annoyed me and made me feel really uncomfortable about the whole thing. They were also singing afterwards "There's only one lying *******" and not sure whether that was directed at Evra or Adeyemi.

I hope that the supporters in that section identify who the culprit or culprits are. The club will know who bought the tickets for any seat in the ground.

Great result completed soured by one or two cunts.
