As I recall the serious booing occurred after his bad tackle on Flanaghan.

It happened before which I think contributed to him going in hard on Flanagan.

On a side note, having now seen the video the BBC journalist who said he did not hear racist abuse from 20 seats away looks as if he was probably closer to the incident than the player. As were the photographers. Would be nice if it was misheard, but I fear the worst.

Another case of a massive over reaction from the majority of people.
IF someone in the Kop racially abused him then ban him for life from all football matches.
IF he didn't then move along, nothing to see here.

Either way it was 1 or 2 people out of 45,000.
Not all Celtic and Rangers fans are labelled as racist becuase they have 1 or 2 idiots shouting sectarian (spelling??) abuse

The fans singing the Suarez song around the time of that incident, has probably added more fuel to the fire.

a black player is clearly upset because someone abused him - first some sections of the crowd boo him, then they sing a song for a player who was found guilty of racial abuse. ffs, lads a bit more sensitivity would do us the world of good.
