Eye witnesses saw two fans wearing Luis Suarez t-shirts, and heard one of them clearly shout "You f***ing black b***ard".

So it's nothing. Kid lost his nerves, we don't know the background story, he might've had his time of the month, who ****ing knows. In this case at least, there are MANY witnesses, so it'll be more difficult for the supremist FA cunts to come up with something out of the ordinary (with regards to possible punishment). Not as if it's never happened before across the country at any weekend that some fans get ejected/shout abuse. Granted, unfortunate timing, but no one was expecting the player to take the abuse (whatever it was) to heart that much.

All it takes is one person to fancy themselves as having a bit of a 'scoop', and telling police that he heard racist abuse - for the FA to jump in and act.

Well, as far as i'm concerned, whatever has happened will have to be dealt with, but as for the reputation of the club, and the long term future, i don't think any of this will have any sort of negative impact on how the club moves forward or how we're percieved, how we act from now on will.

Football moves on imo, something or someone else will come along to take the headlines, apathy for the story will set in.

How the club is run, the stadium, and results are what will define this club going forward. imo.

It's always gone on. Our fans cheerfully used to pelt John Barnes with bananas at corner kicks when he was at Watford and also used to direct chants of "hey you, Chester Zoo" at West Ham's Clyde Best, one of the very first black players in the top flight. But other clubs' fans are just as bad. That doesn't excuse it of course but demonstrates the boorishness and stupidity of many football supporters. Those days really were terrible
