I've got loads of complaints about today, our home form all season, Kenny's decisions - but this is true. Makes 'truefan' look a total cunt only coming on after a poor result and giving it the whole "I told you so" ****e. In fact he has actually said "I told you so". It's pathetic.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostOh look, you're back to posting about the game after we don't win.
Where were you after our last 3 consecutive wins? How come no posting about those games? Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

KD has had his day a back 5 against Stoke was absolutely shocking at Anfield one attacker in the box, Adam and Henderson need to wake up a smell the Coffee and if any body wants to know why Enrique does not play for Spain, today showed you why he is a great Defender but in attack offers you nothing. What is the point of reaching the By line if when you get their the delivery does not get passed the First man. Dirk Kuyt should be sold. Those who think we are gonna make the top four you can forget it

Too static. Too predictable. Sideways, sideways, backwards, forwards, sideways.
It says something when the only players taking men on and giving us forward momentum were Coates, Johnson and Skrtel.
And Im not convinced by Enrique in that kind of game. He's quick alright and good when the opposition is stretched but he's horribly one-footed and almost never takes on his man. Usually goes to take him on, then cuts back and rolls it to whoever's behind him.
And then stands there. Why does he not push on and draw the defender away? I thought it was him and Downing as a pair originally but he does it with everyone.
Slows us down completely. We had much more joy on the right from Johnson taking on the fullback and Skrtel overlapping.
On the Rafa/Kenny/whoever debate, I think its too early to be making those calls. But our most recent signings are not working out at the moment.Last edited by Galb; 14-01-12, 06:31 PM.

Mate I completely agree, and I was in no way talking about the dismissal of Kenny.Originally posted by Mostar View PostI think we should get away from thinking about the new manager.
Kenny's tactics today were poor and he deserves criticism for that but our team collectively let him down today as they have done it in the past.
We don't have enough difference makers, game changers and playmakers that can single handedly influence the outcome.
We have improved the squad depth compared to the previous season but we are in short supply when it comes to true quality footballers.
Until we go out and buy those types of players we will see this type of performances more often than not.
Was just a response to the "If" scenario, if the situation arrived where our owners had had enough.
The times they are a changin'.

We lined up with three centre-backs to occupy Crouch, even Walters went wide right when they looked to attack meaning Skrtel and Coates took it in turns to bring the ball out of defence.
Surely, the extra (extra) centre back was not needed and when we looked to bring Carroll on, we should have left Downing on to provide (hopefully) some sort of service for Carroll and taken off a defender (Carragher)?

Im not sure I agree with that necessarily. Today was far worse than most games under Rafa, even when he was getting stick for being too defensive. No imagination, no penetration, no pace.
We have been better in other games this season but I dont think we're really that much more attacking than we were under Rafa. We're still set up to defend well and hold possession. We probably play with a bit more width but that's a question of style rather than philosophy I think.

That's what I thought we would have done too.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

How do you service someone who spends most of the time on the floorOriginally posted by red g View PostIts a ****ed up world, when I look at player like Larsson going for nothing and Downing 20m...........how the **** does thatmake any sense.
it seems to me that we looked at carroll and downing and based our decison on 1 season. Very, very few fans thought either were good buys but may turn out ok, more hope than judgement.
carroll didnt get service fair enough, but he just looks ****, his first touch makes Kuyt look like Pele.
The guy's a ****ing pussy.Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon

There was no need for three centrebacks. Totally unfathomable.Originally posted by Muddled View PostWe lined up with three centre-backs to occupy Crouch, even Walters went wide right when they looked to attack meaning Skrtel and Coates took it in turns to bring the ball out of defence.
