    That goon blighted my football-watching career for about 12 years.

    Good to see Ray Kennedy getting a few shouts though. Criminally underrated player, oozed class and a vital part of the team that established itself as the best in Europe.
    Will never forget the goal away in Munich in the '81 semi final, when we only had about 8 fit players.

                    By the way, I thought that the quotation in your signature was generally held to involve Bessie Braddock not Nancy Astor. The Nancy Astor one was:

                      To go completely Off topic............ Winston Churchill had a very long running battle with Lady Nancy Astor............... they are but 2 quotes of many attributed to him................If it Turns out to be Bessie Braddock I will change it................ but it is whoever it was directed to a very witty , if somewhat barbed retort



                      Having Just googled it the quote is there but it does not say at whom it was directed
