I think if you take into account the status of worship Kenny is under at LFC, Comolli as an 'outsider' would recommend some players and give Kenny the benefit of the doubt with regards to the transfers, especially regarding Kenny's history at the club as both player and manager. But the talent he unearthed at Spurs was far from your jock Adams, Northern stealth Downing/Henderson and Carroll.

He did see fit to pay £20m for Bentley. And that was years ago - they're stuck with him just as we're stuck with that good for nothing lumbering anachronism up front. He's here to stay. Nobody will touch Carroll now.
