£110m spent yet we still need to buy more players to improve. I don't trust Kenny or Comolli to buy the right players. I feel bad saying this but I don't. Both should be made accountable for wasting money on some shocking purchases. Seeing Dalglish look so clueless on the side reminds me of the Hodgson days. He just looks void of ideas on how to changes. The tactics are just not right. I only see things improving slightly when Suarez returns. For me at the end of the season I would be looking at removing Dalglish.

Where did I say buying Downing and Carroll was a good business.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostReally.. How? You've got over 12k posts on an internet forum. If you thought spending that much money on Downing and Carroll this summer was good business that's your problem.. I wasn't having a dig at anyone but come on!
I never ever said that.
Never.
I had my doubts and I voiced my opinion from day one (read my posts and you will find out) about them and few others but I was willing to give them some time to see what they can or cannot do for us without trying to sabotage them from the get go.Last edited by Mostar; 21-01-12, 09:23 PM.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Seriously Though Nigel .. it was not so much the scoreline which was god awful but it was the manner in which we just did not show up today and the lack of the plan B ... we always seem to have 11 ****ing players behind the ballOriginally posted by NigelLG View PostI admit it's a bit of a knee jerk reaction after today's ignominy. I'll hold my hands up in that but things has got to improve and fast.Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

I trust Kenny's judgement of a player. I can't believe he was the one who called the shots for some of our signings, if he had ANY kind of input.Originally posted by marcus50bucks View Post£110m spent yet we still need to buy more players to improve. All the Rafa talk.. Yes he deserves stick for his poorer transfers, there is no hiding away from that. However with all the success he's had in the market he can hardly be called poor can he? For every Aquilani there was an Alonso.. So far under Kenny or whoever this time Its for every Carroll, Downing, Adam, Henderson there is an Enrique. It doesn't add up.Vive la France

Kenny has the final say on transfers Commolli said that in an interview, if Kenny dosen't want a player then that's that. I'm not having a go at you but please don't try and shift all the blame to DC.Originally posted by NigelLG View PostI trust Kenny's judgement of a player. Exactly the same as what I did.. Me saying on an internet forum. "Oh ffs what a waste of money that looks like" doesn't mean I'm not going to support them 100% when I'm at the match or just watching. Once they were in our red I was desperate for them to do well but the case is they haven't and baring huge improvement from now to the end of the season, we may need to ship them out or bring in a player and drop them to the bench.Originally posted by Mostar View PostWhere did I say buying Downing and Carroll was a good business.

Just back in although I only live twenty minutes away from the Reebok, you would have thought they had won old big ears, the amount of tooting and flag waving.
A group not far from where we were stood, starting sing the Rafa song after 40 mins, and usually they get shouted down, but quite a few start to join in. Quite a few were getting a wee bit pissed off with the King.
Glanced at a few quotes and to be fair to Carroll, he looked like he was up for it and actually contributed far more than a few others.
Adam and Maxi looked lost out there tonight, I'm surprised changes weren't made at half time.
One thing that bugs me, I want to see Henderson smash into to someone to show if he ****in cares a bit, he wasn't the worst out there tonight but I'd like to see him put his boot in a little, even if it ends up a red cardI make no apologies, this is me

Shafted no but I'm pretty sure his hands are tied a wee bit. What's the role of Commolli at the end of the day? Chief scout? Director of Football? Moneyball guru? Are we winning?
