Thought we were going to lose that the more the game went on. Kenny made the subs exactly as I wanted bar Gerrard. The team regained control and went pushing. Great to see Evra at fault for the goal.

Anyone else notice Clive Tyldsley's deflated reaction when Agger scored?

And what about the number of times the sound dipped into silence when our fans were singing about Suarez? The number of times the Man Utd fans were singing and it suddenly went up in sound. Definite fiddling of microphones.

What a result and of all the players to be a fault for United Evra for the secong goal, which was a great knock down by Carroll and lovely finish by Kuyt.

Absoluely, the Evra mistake made it sweeter and it really was a howler from De Gea too. I mentioned it in the match thread, but Man Utd certainly set-up to protect him and protect him well, they did. But the times we managed to get beyond their back line or put the ball up in the air, he was all over the shop; we were due a keeper to have a 'mare at Anfield.

Agger was by far the man of the match, Skrtel and Kelly were superb aswell. Thought Carroll worked hard and did well to be involved in both goals. For me Enrique needs a rest, last 3 games he has looked off the pace, maybe Johnson in at LB and Kelly RB vs Wolves?

Again, absolutely - Enrique was at fault for the goal and really didn't seem to close the man down quick enough. It could purely be down to fatigue and Johnson has never let us down at left back - equally, Kelly has yet to have a below average game for us. That should be more than enough to trouble Wolves.

Stevie wasn't great today but is probably feeling bit tired with recent run of games. Thought Hendo was anonymous again, runs around alot with out actually committing to anything. Downing was wasteful and didn't do much either IMO, although playing him from the RM is never a good shout.

I think Henderson kept us ticking over, he was asked to bridge the big gap between midfield and Carroll and was tireless in his running and unlucky on occassions with intercepted through balls. He has a great footballing brain, but seems to keep his kit 'clean', always found space and always wanting the ball - I don't think he was anonymous. Equally, I thought Downing had a good game; defensively, he was sound and supported both Kelly and Enrqiue, going forward I again thought he was a decent outlet, but I think his low confidence is making him indecisive and can't decide with which ball to go with. This will come with more peformances like that, I'm sure.

As regards Downing, him and Maxi seemed to have to play a more defensive role today. Hendo for me just isn't ready to be a regular in our team. We have enough players that keep us ticking over. That said what a result!!!!!!!!!!
