As regards Downing, him and Maxi seemed to have to play a more defensive role today. Hendo for me just isn't ready to be a regular in our team. We have enough players that keep us ticking over. That said what a result!!!!!!!!!!

Maxi for me was supposed to support Carroll from the left, but just couldn't get in the game. With regards to Henderson, I think he has a role and I think next season, three will be the magic number - Lucas holding, Gerrard spraying, Henderson creating ... or something like that!

cold water immediately on the stains. literally pour it onto the stain itself and then attack with a brush.

blot it all up with a terry towel, on synthetics you'll be ok. on wool you might leave a small reddish stain.

Soda water onto the stain then pour a mountain of salt on top

Brush up the salt when it's dried off and repeat if needed

Maxi wasn't great today i must admit. Lack of match time isn't doing him any favors though IMO, looks a bit rusty.

Henderson is young and learning but games just drift him by, he has no presence in CM for me. Runs around without really doing much. IMO if we had every it he wouldn't be a regular starter, only injuries and suspensions that have seen him starts so many games.
