I watched the first 55mins of this game and Sterling was totally ****e. He is nowhere near good enough for the first team and I am still shocked at how highly rated this guy is. And I'm not just making my judgement based on this one performance. I still am struggling to understand why Toni Silva was sent out on Loan when we had this game to play

Do you think decisions like that should be based on whether we win competitions like this? We're supposed to be developing players to be the best they can be, not winning youth tournaments at all costs.Originally posted by saj View PostI watched the first 55mins of this game and Sterling was totally ****e. Fischer is the biggest talent in Danish football right now, would love if we signed him before Ajax. Now he will spend a few years there in their first team and going for a huge sum later. Ajax are incredible at developing talents, and I know many players from Denmark go there because they actually get the chance in the first team, it's a huge motivational factor for a young player when changing clubs.
Eriksen have said that Fischer is much better than he himself was at 17.
Now we just need to sign Lucas Andersen from Aab, the next kid with a shot of making it from Denmark-

Going out on loan and getting first team experience will benefit him much more than the odd game in this tournament.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I read a rumour that he'd had a scrap with Ngoo over a girlOriginally posted by saj View PostI watched the first 55mins of this game and Sterling was totally ****e. no he didnt play because he already played for sporting.
the midfield is second rate. personally, I think they should try coady at centre back because hes not mobile enough to play midfield. maybe swap with wisdom because hes much better on the ball than in the past, is very quick and will put his foot into. one thing is certain, not too many will play around him.
its going to be hard because hes played at the back all his life but there are a lot of defenders already ahead of him in skrtel, agger, coates and kelly. theres flanagan and robinson who are all very good players.
whereas, we have nothing coming through the central areas bar baio who does look a good player.[B]Sir Isaac Newton knew the universal law of karma - any action has its equal and opposite reaction.[B]

N'Goo was awful, poor first touch, no pace & seemed to give up chasing & pressing after 10 minutes.
Adjoran has that wonderful ability to be able to create time & space for himself, even when marked by 2 or 3 players. However, he faded after 60 mins.
Coady was piss poor. They should have taken him off & left Roddan on (who worked his nuts off trying to close their midfield down).
McGiveron & McLaughlin looked decent. What is it with our young fullbacks & full-blooded, crunching tackles!?!
