WREXHAM AFC can confirm that Danny Ward has today signed for Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.

The 18-year-old keeper had yet to make a first-team start for the Dragons although he did play in the Welsh Cup defeat by Airbus last month, the same day as the senior side won at Brentford in the FA Cup.
"It's a great move for Danny," explained Dragons' boss Andy Morrell.
"We would have liked him to stay but the chance to sign for a top Premiership club was too good for him to turn down.
"He goes with all our best wishes and it would be great to see him playing top flight football in the not too distant future."
A Welsh Under-19 international, Ward had been with Wrexham since the age of 14 and made his Conference debut whilst on loan with Tamworth last term.
Under the terms of the transfer, Liverpool will pay an initial fee with additional payments due upon Danny breaking into the Anfield first-team.
