Suarez will probably come off the bench. It's a win-win. The crowd will be galvanised by him regardless of the score, it means Kenny trusts the players out there to do the job. Suarez can let rip into a tiring Tottenham defence and force them onto the back foot. The 8 game ban was like his pre-season.

Looks good to me too. Adam struggles against pace but I'd be tempted to start with him (Adam) is Bellamy's position and bring Bellamy on later in the game. Suarez will be just fine to start, adrenalin will be MASSIVEOriginally posted by PTP View Postgood that we have a couple days off now with us not playing till monday.
depending on Gerrard's fitness, i'd say henderson/adam probably look the most likely to make way.....

Interesting one this with a bit of a selection headache. A good one though.
As said above, none of our forward line deserve to be dropped at the moment. But we've got our best player coming back who much surely start.
Bellamy, Kuyt and Carroll have really found form in the last few games. Bellamy has been our best player since Christmas, but he's played a lot recently so I think he'll be benched.
I can't see Dalglish benching Downing again so I would imagine he'll come back in for Kuyt.
I think Kenny will go something like:
Reina
Johnson Skrtel Agger Enrique
Spearing Adam
Henderson Suarez Downing
Carroll
Possibly dropping one of Spearing and Adam to bring in Kuyt. Bellamy an option from the bench. It's not what I'd go for but I reckon that's a close guess.
Any news on Gerrard?

We need to get a hold of Parker and Modrioc, last time they just passed the ball around us effortlessly. I liked the fluidity of our team last night players were dropping back changing wings etc, with Jay sitting in front of the back four giving the rest of the team space to go and attack. Although Carroll has been excellent last 3 games I would not want to drop Bellars, I think we need Kuyts industry to help with Bale and his appetite for scoring in big games and think Suarez is the type of player you can throw right back into the thick of it and he'll be itching to get on the score sheetAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Wouldn't drop Carroll, not just because of form but because the big man / small man combo is working wonderfully well. And in no way is that a reference to hoof ball.
Someone on ITV commented after the FA cup match that the defenders were unsure to drop back or push up. Created confusion, just like with Wolves last night where Mick was commenting that he was looking to change the formation midway 2nd half before Bellamy's goal but was unable to quickly enough.
Controversially I would keep Adam AND Gerrard on the bench for this:
Back 5
Henderson Spearing
Kuyt Suarez Bellamy
CarrollOne tit for another.

Personally I'm not so sure Suarez will walk straight in to the team right now, as we have been playing so well without him. I could see Suarez changed with Henderson to get more in midfield for Spurs and you have the team. Then you still have to lively inside forwards to support Carroll which is essential else his flick ons and holding of the ball is wasted.Originally posted by PTP View Postgood that we have a couple days off now with us not playing till monday.

Then Suarez to come on for Kuyt or Bellamy after 60 min

I think it would also send the right message to the team if we started with him on the bench, same team but swap Henderson/Adam for Gerrard.
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Its tricky... I would say out we need to keep there wbs pegged back and control the middle of the park, the rest will take care of itself.
Bale played on the right last night and look equally scary as hell on his right foot as on his left, i think we need to shut off the supply rather than trying to mark him out of the game
I seen the Assou Ekotto Challenge, it was potentially career ending ... what the rule on that, because the Ref gave a free kick for it so he did see it but I dont think he gave a card ... Lee Probe .. useless assbag that he is
You have to play Gerrard I would even think about sticking him out of on the rightAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

I'd play Carroll in the middle of a front three with Suarez plus one other in the wide forward roles I think Suarez could play either left or right.
A front three of Bellamy Carroll and Suarez would be a nightmare for defenders
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Definitely our best front three at the moment.
