        Skrtel is boss. One of the best 'proper' CBs in the league.

          Skrtel with a great challenge on Bale there takes the ball but lets Bale know about him. Good old fashioned challenge

                  Interesting point made by the commentator earlier on. Houllier let Friedel go - was that a bad decision?

                  When he was with us, I didn';t think he was up to much, but he went on to be decent for everyone else he played for and continues to be decent now. in that time, we had to put up with James, Westerveld, injured Kirkland and but for a season of greatness and a stunning EC final, a nervouse Jerzy Dudek.

                  Could Brad Friedel have saved us a ****ing fortune until Pepe turned up? Should we have stuck with him?
