First half musings:
Johnson looks more defensively sound on the left side; I don't know if that's because he concentrates more, but it's certainly not affecting his natural attacking instincts neither.
Kelly has been in some great positions, but has gone for the drilled ball as apposed to gaining some height. Equally, on the right Kuyt has been sloppy both in both long and short passing, causing us to lose impetus when going forward.
Gerrard has looked good, as has Spearing. I don't think Adam has been bad, but he's certainly low in confidence which is making his foot heavy and passing erratic.
We've looked solid and have a strong bench.Comment
