That's true, but if the club, Kenny and us fans believe in his innocence, as we do, and take into account the ****e he's been through, then it's also right to have a little understanding of why he may have got second thoughts when push came to shove, probably felt like an admission of guilt to him in a way, which it isn't i know, but who really knows how he was feeling.

Wrong not to do it, but also understandable after everything maybe ?

Agree with original post. There is another conclusion to your lack of January investment point and that is that the owners do not trust the management team to spend the money and are waiting until the summer to make decisions.

In terms of performances I think the whole Suarez affair has had a major impact. It would be nice to think it would galvanize the squad but I don't think it has at all. It's been a fcuking nightmare all round - and one that should have been avoided but I guess that's easy to say in hindsight.

We have done the right thing with the apologies. Lets get rid of the external heat and move on asap.

I am disappointed by some of Kenny's actions and even more by performances. But he didn't sign up for this ****. He has done the best he can in extremely difficult times. Lets see how results fare when he only has football to worry about.

It appears that the PR nightmare has started to raise concerns closer to home:

        FSG

        Standard Chartered

If the owners and main sponsors are getting concerned, that doesn't bode well for Suarez & Kenny.

Good, witty, quick comment though -

          Chezsu (Arsenal) says...

That's what you call a negative bank statement! Boom boom.

Standard Chartered would have been best keeping their concerns internal - I can't understand why they would want to leak such comments which only further damages us (and them to an extent) and prolongs our place in the headlines.

FSG have every right to be agitated, but again, I do feel it would have been best for our apologies to have been issued and left it at that, regardless of who ordered them.

Because they see the headlines the club is attracting and want to seperate themselfs from it.

The possible harm to reputation is possibly worse than the positives of the exposure.
