Bellamy's interview the other day worried me, his head wasn't right for this one, said "he wasn't looking forward to it". He might not be fit enough to warrant a start anyway, but I think his frame of mind ruled him out of a place in the team for this one.

To be honest, I totally got Bellamy's interview. Its quite easy to take some of the quotes from it a little out of context, I thought he was very honest about being a touch conflicted about the game and it was completely understandable really.

I also think if he gets on the pitch he'll play with as much drive and conviction as he always does. Starting XI makes sense to me, although yeah, Downing had better show up.

Yeah I found it really, really weird. "Not looking forward to it", "I wont celebrate" etc. I get where he was coming from but he was almost trying to talk himself out of it, if we were playing Boro and that was Downing there'd be absolute uproar on here.
