    Making our first ever sign for a football match... just a poster, but I am hoping to take the boy near the pitch on July 28th and see if we can get the poster autographed during warmups. As I've mentioned a million times, the day will be his 4th birthday and the match v Spurs will be his first match ever. Was thinking of this:

    My 4th Birthday
    +
    1st Football Match
    =
    * * * * * (five stars)

    with a Liverbird in the corner.

    White background, "gold" 4 and 1 (with red trim), red letters (with black trim).
    Thoughts?

      Make sure your son holds it up as you'll look a bit weird claiming you're 4 years old.

        Take a pic of the banner and post it here before you go, we can recognise it no problem then if we see you.

        Hope he gets his autographs.

        I love hearing about LFC fans that are parents introducing their children to supporting lfc, it's a natural progression and just seems so right and good.

          Will take a picture for sure... Will be in the "Kop end" (LFC supporters section) but near the top... and yes, he's holding it. Giving him a kit in the AM on the day as a surprise; also got one for my 3 month old, who is going with me (and the wife).

          Also, since most US stadiums don't allow banners to be hung (weirdly), a sign it will have to be...

                    I do hope to take my son to a Liverpool match one day but it's soon far away!
