You'd have to get day release first

its funny how other fans look at it, Was my little girls bithday today and i had a variety of footy fans there including manc, everton and other brainless twerps.

everyone to a man said we were brilliant yesterday and how well we played and made Aresnal look ****e.

funny how other fans can bring a sense of prespective sometimes when your own talk so much ****e.

Many fans (on this site) are too easily influenced by Sky Sports
                  Another MASSIVE game

That's the whole point. If we play well more often than not, and are the better side more often than not, we wont go far wrong.

Things arent perfect of course, but it's tweaks we need, not overhauls or suicidal melodrama from the fans.

The problem is we've been saying this more or less all season.

It's the final step that's the hardest. Their comes a point in time when you start questioning whether or not the players we've got are capable of making that final step from nearly boys to winners.

I hoped winning the League Cup would be the catalyst. That game summed up the problems we've had the whole season in many ways, except that we got away with it and won. But then the Arsenal game was exactly the same except we didn't get away with it, as has been the case in most games this season.

Oh, and when are we going to practice taking penalties for ****s sake.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Lecter? Last goal with a shot outside the box? Kuyt last week when his cross rebounded to him - Before that? Bellamy at Wolves I think - Kuyt's goal there was just on the Edge of the box as well & before that? You have to go all the way back to the Oldham FA Cup game in January with Carroll's missile against them in a 5-1 slaughter I think & the Newcastle League game with Bellamy's free kick from a Very long way away which answers your question also I think Craig H.

As to what's missing? Think NigelLG partly has the right of it. A clinical edge & actually putting Away a decent proportion of the absolutely ridiculously easy to score amount of chances we create - Something which I would argue is a consequence of us going to far the other way under previous management since way back under Roy Evans when we were last this attacking (barring a few months of Rafa's second to last season here). Think we've been So defensive under Recent managers? We're just not Used to this sort of bounty of chances being laid before us in games & thus panic & tend to miss them. If I had to say what we're really missing? It's not a Torres/Van Persie style finisher & I doubt one would improve us that much given the manner of our whole Team whenever we play whoever the personnel used right now.

No what I really think we Need to find? Is someone to help the whole side (who are in the main Very young now?) Mature as finishers, passers & in possession - I think if or even if we don't find that person? A little calmness under pressure in possesion & especially with our goal chances? Would utterly transform this team. Put it this way? I think it's significant that the finishing ability & level in possession of the whole team goes up a few levels whenever the likes of Gerrard or Bellamy play but sadly, they're now restricted due to injury -I think what we Really need? Is someone like what Cantona was for United all those years ago when they To had this problem, lingered about midtable whilst looking like a table topping side in defence & general play while being laughably bad at finishing what they created for years on end as We cavorted away at the top with all the trophies & traded punches with Arsenal, Everton & others in endless title fights - Then?

Well then of course, They Found that missing link in someone calm enough to create and score a fair bit - He? Brought the level of the rest of the side up to his own & the rest as they say? Is history - They haven't looked back ever since & are still up there on the back of what his efforts helped build - That man's name? Eric Cantona - Now? We need our own Cantona - Though developing our own Torres or RVP Might help somewhat? And we might have the answer in our reserves in the form of the likes of Morgan, Sterling or Silva (Particularly Morgan - If anyone knows where the net is? That lad does) But if you ask me? What we Really need is a Gary Mac type upfront or to put it bluntly in terms of title challenging etc? As I said - Liverpool now Needs to find it's Own Eric Cantona (or better still a Player like Kenny was) and has done Long since. Anyway - Don't know what will happen now myself though I suspect Kenny knows only to well Where we're going wrong & will act accordingly - What will happen next? We shall see - Time will tell on that one as it always in the end does.................

NB Red G? Don't think bar the finishing? There was anything wrong with our play either - Just think that on This date above all when it comes to Liverpool Home games? We're cursed & I'm not normally a superstitious one but go back in the record books to 2007 & 1991 & March 3rd Liverpool Home games in Both those years? And you'll find it's far from the first time we've made our supposed rivals (particularly Arsenal on This date) look stupid in games only to end up losing. Just something our club does Not like about March 3rd. It's the Reason I hate Paul Merson as well - We were unbeaten at home in the 90's until March 3rd 1991 when we should have Stayed that way & Then? He of All people recovered from his lifelong haze to score against us a week after Kenny left before & don't think we've had the same authority or sense of Liverpool inevitably winning at Anfield ever since & believe me? We utterly Pulverised them in That game to as much if not More so than yesterday as that season? We Were the Champions after the campaign before it & we smashed Arsenal all over the park yet still? Somehow lost - The other big game on that date? Was the United O'Shea one & we all know what a travesty That was - Enough said. Another decade - Nothing changes nor on this evidence? Ever will not until we add the missing ingredients of calmness in the box & a cool head in general anyway & God only knows when That will be right now; Like I said above? We shall see.............

And i' m really sorry to admit it but Ashley young is much better than downing especially in terms of scoring ability. The goal he scored vs spurs yesterday! How many times Downing has similar chances? Near miss near miss oh my God what a waste! Remember that A certain Luis Garcia cost only 6 million! Even vs Arsenal Downing had 2 chances to score and 1 to make a good assist to Suarez but he failed in all of them! Kenny should sell him in summer!

Think we were in for Young but he chose to go there.
                              Are we winning?
