I can't remember feeling so flat going into a derby, feeling so down about it all.

Oh I can. Hodgson. The Utopia Derby.

I'd **** Adam off and maybe play Shelvey if Gerrard's not ready.

      Something like:

      Reina

      Johnson
      Skrtel
      Coates
      Enrique

      Spearing
Gerrard (or Shelvey if he's not fit)

      Maxi
      Suarez
      Bellamy

      Carroll
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Hahaah the Utopia Derby! Still cant believe he called that our best performance of the season after we'd had a 2-0 humiliation at Goodison. Didnt even get mocked much by Everton supporters after either, they knew we were disgustingly bad.

Still, at least Roy had a good old laugh with his mate Moysie at the end of the game.

Speaking of Moyesy, we really ****ing get up his nose don't we!

            Moyes:

When Liverpool won the Champions League I got a flight out of the country the next morning. My excuse was looking at training camps in Austria, I think. Last season we took four points from them and they looked like going out of business, but they got new owners, invested more money and kicked on again. That’s how it’s been.

I dont think he's ever done an interview without mentioning the opposition spending money! Of course Yakubu, Johnson, Jagielka, Fellaini, Beattie etc etc etc were all free transfers and played for nothing aswell.

If we're talking about playing younger lads then Shelvey should be in for Adam. Not even a question of doubt. Adam deserves to be dropped. I think Sterling should be on the bench and keep giving Coates some game time.

With this being the derby Carragher will start IMO
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I hope not. I know a derby is much more intense and quite different but Coates played at Chelsea, acquitted himself very well and we won. Also it aids his development...he is the future, Carra is the past.

I'm not saying I think he should it's just what I imagine will happen. I think that was part of the reason why Coates started yesterday - that Carragher probably couldn't play 2 games so close together and Kenny probably prefered to have him for the derby than for Sunderland (I suspect Carragher is still considered 3rd choice, with Coates 4th, just my opinion though).

Haha yeah, you're probably right. I was pleasantly surprised Coates played yesterday.

This was the first thing I thought when I saw Coates was playing yesterday.

He comes off as a right **** with that comment. Like its a kick in the teeth for him that a 120 year old club didn't go out of business.
What an inconvenience for him! Yeah its not nice when football clubs don't get dissolved, is it David? Tosser.
