True, of late it has been all round, but our lack of goals is killing us dead in the water.

We are like a sitting duck untill the goals start going in on a regular basis.

really not looking forward to this tonight at all - we look ****ing weak and **** and those cunts are fired up. But....being liverpool, the we ****ing seem to go about our business we will probably win tonight, be celebrating, get a result against stoke in the cup....and then get beat by qpr and wigan.

we seem to have a real lack of options for midfield - i just don't want to see adam or henderson in a derby game at the moment - Henderson will hide and Adam will get overran and then sent off.

hopefully gerrard is fit - i'd say our best chance is probably....

I think we need at some point to develop a more consistent selection policy. We don't just change personnel but seemingly style for most games. It's not like we have a core to the team or any central parts of the philosophy like we did when Rafa was here or the quality that has allowed Mourinho or Fergusson to do this in the past.

I really think we have to keep faith with Henderson. We also have to find a shape that works for more than one or two players in the squad. I'd be looking to ease Adam out of the position of necessity he has been assuming but if we had a game plan that made good use of him I'd be happy to keep going with that.

Overall I think we have to use this game as a platform for the rest of the season. Ideally I'd be looking to play a set of players we think can provide a basis for a team next year with one or two younger players on the bench. Ideally at least one of which would be attacking/creative.
