    Who are St Jospehs?

Reminds me of county u16 Cricket (for a rural welsh county) where we'd go and play against some public school across the border and get tonked.

I think it s a shame that our Academy has produced very little down the years. We seemed to have a conveyer belt of talent coming through before it was built. We have probably been spoilt in the past, but it seems like its an impossible task for a young player to come through with the quality of the current team... TAA being the obvious success... and with a real sense of timing. I know we have had a few kids go on to moderate success elsewhere, so it pays for itself. I think it is special when a local lad represents the club on the pitch. I think it makes the team feel closer to the fans, if that makes sense.

It's a report in the mirror, IMO that amounts to little more than speculation

Didn't we just sell someone like that?

    From the beeb:

"Liverpool are willing to let Wales winger Harry Wilson, 22, leave for a fee of £21m. The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Derby and Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig are reportedly interested".
