Overall I can hardly remember a more comfortable derby win. Carra & Skrtel were barely tested. Anichebe's proper **** ...in fact playing two big lumps up front did us a real favour.

I really think Carroll deserves alot of credit for this win. He worked his ass off and maybe his time is coming?

Great result, but it does make you wonder about some of the players. Too many in our current line up only perform when the key players turn it on.

Henderson is a case in point. When the top players perform, his movement and passing ability come to the fore and he looks like a very tidy player. But he needs to stand on his own two feet and make things happen on his own, but at least he's got time on his side.

My other point is about Downing & Carroll. Played well tonight, but they've been playing well lately so I'm not surprised. One question Kenny - Why did you drop them after the League Cup final when they were finally starting to get it together?

Hopefully there are not too many changes now and we can be concistant. Bellamy with his knees is better used as a sub, so give Downjng a run now he's finally in form.

Great performance. Gerrard,Suarez and Kelly were outstanding. Carroll had a blinder too. Much the better side. Kelly should be our starting RB, always thought he was a better defender than Johnson but he has shown time and time again his willingness to bust a gut and get forward, a star in the making.

Only downsides for me, were the usuals Downing and Henderson. Henderson picked up a bit from a horrendous start but only seems to start reacting when the teams is cruising, Downing did nothing wrong but just just there. Downing and Henderson only squaddies at the moment and IMO not players that you can count on. Apart from that super stuff and a breath of fresh air.

Great to see the Stevie back in full flow, majestic performance.

x1 Best performance in a red one. Hendo was shocking in the first 20 but **** me didnt he come good fair play to the lad he dont let things get to him, Downing and Enrique is our best option on the left , kelly was the bollocks and Stevie and Saurez are LFC
